Mia Barnes spent nearly two decades empowering others in a rewarding career. By empowering others, she found the strength to pursue her dream of writing and earned her Master’s in English and Creative Writing. Although she has been writing for years, it was during grad school Mia discovered a love of fiction writing. As a sapphic author, she likes to create robust characters to tackle different social issues—past and present. When Mia isn’t working on a project, you can find her hiking with her German Shepard or kayaking with her partner and friends.
